Tips for Preventing Diaper Rash
Diaper rash can be very painful for your little baby. It is important to treat these rashes on time with some appropriate measures to keep your baby healthy and happy. Hope these tested strategies help you get rid of diaper rashes.
Change the diaper after a certain period of time.
Replacing a soiled diaper with a clean diaper plays a key role in preventing diaper rash. The damp diaper may cause irritation and it also raises rash enzymes. So even if you find that diaper is not heavy or baby isn’t fussing for a change, change it after 2 to 3 hours.
Give your baby some diaper free time.
Before you replace the diaper, give your baby’s bum some diaper free time.
Choose appropriate diaper size.
Please choose diaper size appropriately. Diapers should fit properly and it should not be tight – after all you want baby’s diaper snug enough to prevent leaks.
Avoid use of unnecessary products on baby’s skin like perfumes, scented wipes, harsh soaps etc. Use water-based wipes or cotton balls to clean the area. Use good quality products to avoid rashes.
