Reasons to Celebrate Valentine’s Day
It’s almost that time of year again! February 14 Valentine’s Day is here, which means that I’m excited. Many people think that Valentine’s day is silly and dislikes the day. Few eye rolls, a few shrugged shoulders and a few like me jump in excitement. Am I right?
I may sound cheesy but there are innumerable reasons why I love Valentine’s Day. It’s not because I love all the pink and red, balloons, the flowers, Valentine cards. I love it for its core concept. Valentine’s Day is not tied to gushy romance or obligation. It’s about love — and what’s not to love about love?
We all want to feel loved and cared for and needed. We all love being reminded about love and life. I am surrounded by an awesome set of people who cares for me, who loves me. So why not tell the lovable world that Yes I love them and they love me. Let’s appreciate the day especially made for love.
No matter if you’re a daughter or a son, Father or a mother, single or married, below are a few reasons for celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Love Love Love
And love is awesome! You can really see how crazy I feel when it comes to love. We all need love especially after terrible days and things that happen to us. It’s the day to focus on all the good things. Talk about love, share the love and be in love. Just put that love to the people you love and I promise the world will be a little brighter.
Let’s be Cheesy
Valentine’s day gives us the reason to be cheesy and tell the people that yes I Love You. Whether it’s telling your partner million times that I love U or giving lots of hugs to your kids. From dancing on the rhymes with kids or playing ridiculous love songs at top volume and dancing around the kitchen will give immense pleasure.
Dressing Up
Dressing up is proven to have the ability to boost confidence. Nothing feels better than looking good. Valentine’s day gives you the reason to look good & feel good.
Chocolates, Candy is super trendy
Let’s be real here and admit that we all love chocolates. Valentine’s Day is the time of year when we have an excuse to eat & buy a variety of chocolates.
Go Out If You Are Single
Your odds are really good, trust me on this. Although the commercials are all couples that don’t mean that V day is for them. You can spend a day like a kid because it’s the day of love. There are endless reasons to be in love other than a romantic relationship.
Writing Letters & making Cards
Especially for crafty & romantic people! Writing letters may sound old-fashioned in this digital world but I think It’s the best way to express true feelings.
Giving people gifts
You don’t need to spend a lot on the gift, a small book or a Rose can do wonders. Gift something special to the loved one and make them feel good and attended to.
Holiday
I’m not suggesting you go out and blow your budget on a holiday, a simple staycation can be a good idea. This day gives you a good reason to go out and enjoy with your family, friend, kids or spouse.
So don’t pooh-pooh Valentine’s Day this year! You don’t have to get a date; you don’t have to spend a lot. Just drink some wine, nom on some chocolate, eat some good food, and have a nice, chill, pleasant day to bask in the love you share with your friends and family
This day remind us how lucky we all are to have love in our lives.
And that’s the reason why I love it so much.

I don’t celebrate valentines day per se , but the whole month love is definitely in the air.. also we try going out on Val day to mark our meeting that turned into marriage. (Yes, we were on a formal Valentine’s date)
True!! Romantic or not, there are enough reasons to celebrate Valentine’s Day! even a movie night at home can do! Doesn’t even have to be a couple thing. We took our kids to the park and had the best time ever!
Being a completely Bollywood drama person it really gives me a chance to act cheesy and mushy and him being the opp.

truly knows what they are discussing on the net.
You certainly know how to bring a problem to light and make it important.
More people must read this and understand this side of your story.
It’s surprising you are not more popular given that you surely possess the gift.
